- apologies, this thread should be moved to Automated Testing
no reply, thatís exactly what I'm looking for. If anyone has examples or links on this forum it would be great if you could add them here.
I've personaly started to design a java GUI that automates some tests (it basicaly runs a bunch of batch files)
Now I've created it, I want to intergrate it with QC, and from what I've been reading it sounds like The Quality Center Open Test Architecture API might be the best way, but its a COM library, so I think Ill need a way for the app to talk to a com object.
Im not really sure where to start looking for Open Test Architecture API examples though. QC>>Help>>Knowledge base hasnt been all that helpful
Re: OTA API
The best place to find examples of OTA is the user guide. Check out the Open Test Architecture Guide that shipped with TestDirector. If you're actually using Quality Center (not TestDirector as assumed by this forum), there is a more beneficial HTML Help file that comes with the product.
TDForums.com is another good site that focuses on TestDirector/Quality Center and has a few forums specifically for OTA.
