    user cpu identification

    Hi folks,

I would like to configure load runner to identify a specific user given by a request parameter for post mortem analysis.
Background: Identify GC, CPU Time used by a specific user in a multi-user load test.
    Is this possible in loadrunner?

In the mean time I've found a metohd of finding e.g cpu usage for the vuser1. (I do it by editing common.h and feeding a request header
    web.add_auto_header "Accept-Encoding", "gzip"
    for its transactions.
Then I use another tracetool in the server-end to identify which requests come from vuser1.

But now the question is how can I identify a specific dialog step (such as a click) done by vuser 1 and how much cpu was used for this dialog step.

    thanks in advance

    Re: user cpu identification

Sounds like you are doing excellent analysis, can you share some other details like how are you matching the CPU and GC based on user, hopefully i am thinking that based on users you can identifly when GC is called but CPU is something which i am really interested.
well for second query i am again surprised as i had never heard this before.with qzip you can reduce the resource consumptioin but you cannot force the server to accept your header with gzip which is beyond the performance scope.
