We need to capture both Esc and F3 key at the same time and the script has captured something like

TE_type("<kEscape><kf3>");

During the scripting, but when we try to run the script it is not able to hold both the key simutaneously.

I tried using

TE_type("<kEscape>AND<kf3>");

TE_type("<kEscape>OR<kf3>");

But no success, any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: RTE Keystroke Issue - Multiple

The recorded TE_type statement is correctly recorded as:
TE_type("<kEscape><kf3>");

These...
TE_type("<kEscape>AND<kf3>");
TE_type("<kEscape>OR<kf3>");
... will never work.

If your expectation is the the keystrokes are simultaneous - rest assured that they are not.

If your application requires both an Escape Key and Function key in the same stroke, I would ask your developers if they are stepping out of known implied hot key standards. (unless some sort of back door sequence)

I have seen "Alt - F3", but never ESC - Fn.
