No match found for the requested parameter error

    Hi all,

I have correlated one item in one web page of my application as following.

The script runs successfully in VUGen(for one iteration).
But in controller when i run the same script with 2 users only one user run successfully. But second user fails with the following error.

Action.c(132): Error -26377: No match found for the requested parameter "WCSParam_Text1". Check whether the requested boundaries exist in the response data. Also, if the data you want to save exceeds 256 bytes, use web_set_max_html_param_len to increase the parameter size.

I want to know why the script runs successfully in VUGen;But it throws error "No match found for the requested parameter " in controller for multiple user..

Could any of you please reply?

You may have missed some session handling correlation earlier in your script that is only showing when run as 2 users.

Record your script twice and diff it.
Unless you are writing a compiler, strtok is NOT the answer.

It will be good if you record 2 diferent scripts with different users you have and use the script Comparison tool available in VUGen to see the difference.

    Good Luck!!

This parameter name would suggest that you have not correlated, but instead have relied upon the correlation rules engine to handle this issue for you. Please turn your attention to your LoadRunner training material on manual correlation to resolve this issue.

Oops...I did not parameterize the user name.

That is why the issue occurs.

    Thanks for all your suggestions.
