Hi, im testing a web server application, after some 100 to 120 vusers im getting the following error:
Error are :step download time error while downloading non resources.
I want to know whether this error due to my application or server configuration problem .
Re: Step download time error
The act of outputting the error is by design. The timeout can be changed - but that would only diminish the number of errors logged by LR or even hide the fact that a problem in the architecture may be occurring. What is causing the error to be output? You would need to communicate this to your customer and ensure resources are enlisted to look into this. There are many possible reasons for this - far too many to lead you through here.
It is EXTREMELY important that you get training and/or a strong mentor. It is also necessary for you to get the resources from your team and/or customer to look into this. One cannot sit here and from this forum tell you or your customer what might be wrong with your application or the architecture where your application resides.
While there is no problem here answering one-offs, it is realized that the nature of your many questions of late indicate the need for both training and experience.
This site is not for interactive training in LoadRunner due to its complexity and the various complexities of the architectures (and configurations thereof) against which it is used to impart load, or - troubleshooting performance issues within those architectures.
I would find it hard to believe that Incore does not have deep enough pockets to help you!
