Parameterzing issue with Loadrunner 8.0
When parameterizing the user accounts in the script and running it
from controller I am getting the following error.
In the parameter properties when I set "Select Next Row' to Unique and "Update value on:" to Each Iteration and "When out of values:" to Continue with last value , I have automatically allocate block size I am getting the Error:
"2 -84800 insufficient records for param 'Username' in table to provide the Vuser with unique data 12 6 1 1 "
This error goes away only if I double userId's declared to what my actual test is. i.e. if I want to run for 30 users I have to input 60 UserId's in the parameter file.
Mercury Engineer answered : "If you put bloc size =2 then you will need twice more values than the number of vusers.
If you want to have 10 users and 10 values, you can select block size=1, or just set 'Update Value Once'.
Update value once will pick a unique value for the complete duration of the vuser. (independent of the iteration)."
But I thought automatically Load runner assigns one block size for each iteration when I get to pick that. Can you confirm on this

An empirical solution has already been provided to your query. Click on the below given link for the solution.
Also how "Automatically allocate block size" works is
"Divides the number of values in the parameter file with the number of Vusers and sets the block size as the
