    Python Client Server Application PTesting


    I have been trying to loadtest an application using LoadRunner 8.0.

    The application is developed with a Python Client and Backend is MySQL any idea exactly what protocol do I use to script for this.

    Haven't got a clue. Grab a protocol analyzer. Take a loomk at the content and the port number in use. See if the port number corresponds to a well known port for a given protocol which is supported by LoadRunner

    Try Wireshark Protocol Sniffer - its a great tool to monitor the server client conversations.

    try with Winsock protocol is the good option. winsock protocol can be used for recording low level protocol
