LoadRunner 8.1 defect ??
Would you share with me if you have any problem connecting LoadController to GUI Generators using existing Terminal Sessions?
Would you also let me know if you have successfully connecting to multiple Terminal Sessions using the second option "Connect to new Terminal Sessions"? There is only one field for UserName and one field for Password with this option.
Re: LoadRunner 8.1 defect ??
I have also same problem. For User Id / Password options LR gives me message "82208 - Cannot create Terminal Sessions automatically. Possible cause: The credentials used to logon to the Load Generator has insufficent privileges to perform the requested operation" though i have administrator rights. For first option LR gives "82801 - Abnormal termination, caused by mdrv process termination.
29987 - Error: Process "mdrv.exe" was not created on remote host "pc-p4-480". Reason: communication error. Make sure the Agent process or service is running on the remote machine..
10343 - Error: Process "mdrv.exe" was not created on remote host "pc-p4-480". Reason: communication error. Make sure the Agent process or service is running on the remote machine.." messages. (PC-P4-480 is my Load Generator).
Re: LoadRunner 8.1 defect ??
This is the first time you have noted the mdrv based error message.

Try to run five GUI virtual users on five PCs. If this works, great! You have a licence for more than 1 GUI Vuser. Why do this? Historically Mercury has allowed for the execution of a single virtual user of any type. You have noted that you could run a single GUI VU, but have problems going to more than one.
