Traceability for LoadRunner tests using Quality Center

Does anyone have any experience with utilizing Quality Center to run and capture Load Runner tests that allow traceability back to the performance test cases that link to performance requirements in Quality Center?

I have been using Load Runner's tools stand alone with success but am now required to tie Load Runner to Quality Center for traceability.

Any pros or cons with using the two tools in conjunction with each other?

    Thanks,

Why are you required to do this? Maybe answers to that question can help us to help you to make a case pro or con, and provide some alternatives.

While waiting for this to unfold, ask the person(s) requiring this to start budgeting for some high-end servers.

It is a requirement from my company's management.
I already have the hardware. Just digging for more information on setup and configuration and if anyone else has had experience in implementing the two in such a fashion.

Go to the Mercury support web site and look for article number 22698 in the knowledge base for TestDirector.

Re: Traceability for LoadRunner tests using Quality Center

These tools are not really set up to link in this way. I would recommend using some form of placeholder tests in QC that you can flag manually after performance testing. I think the law of diminishing returns kicks in early. QC does a terrible job of req coverage reporting on a whole in the real world anyway. The next version of QC looks better, but that doesn't help anyone right now.
