    Check Point for Web_Submit_Data

    Hello,While logging in, load runner submting username and password using web_submit_data.It will submit the data unconditional,so this particular statement is passing even with wrong user name and password.How Can I implement some condition to make sure it wont pass if we pass incorrect username and/or password.

    Are you performance testing or functional testing? It kinda looks like functional. If so, you are using the wrong tool.

    I agree with Jake. You have already answered the question of "Will this work for one user" if you are testing for performance. Consider using correct data.

    You can check if the Page you are looking for is the right one with text check (web_find).
    Fail the transaction if specific text was not found.
    you sure can not change the username and password in the same script with in a single run. so i don't see any thing right in what you trying to find.

    make your question more specific you did not get the answer or more quesions.

    I am doing performace testing only & sure that using right tool.

    Rahul,I am looking for other than web_find option.

    Eswar - use valid credentials and then you do not need to worry about whether incorrect. If incorrect, it will fail anyway. A premise of performance testing in this specific credentials context, is that it works.
