You can use WR scripts in LR scenarios assuming you have the correct licensing, but please understand that the results you obtain will not be what a straight LR script would give. WR is focused on the client, and validation of it's features and functionality. LR focused almost not at all on client, rather on servers and network. You will need to add LR-specific statements to your WR script to capture transactions. You will want to strip out a lot of the validation statements to make the script run better. Altogether probably not a great use of your time.
Might be better use of your time to record LR scripts in 'the usual way', using the WR script flow as a guide.
A final option would be to initiate VUgen and execute the WR script while VUgen is recording. That would capture the flow directly. But again, you'd have to manually add the LR transactions to make it worth your while.
Since I dint find this post in LoadRunner forum will post a reply here. Excuse.
I advise you not to take that approach. Since you will need license for GUI Vuser and also other constraints (not easy to generate load - you would require a work around) and when you will again finally decide that recording the stuff in LoadRunner is not a big deal.
