I have recorded a web script which contains some images as .gif. When i run the script instead of loading the image it shows the html code containing the details of gif image. Is there any way can i have the settings to see the gif images during run time.
Secondly, I am getting this IE script error, type syntax error in run time viewer, which i never got while running manually on IE. Is this error related to Run-Time Viewer? Is there any way i can get rid of this type error.
Re: Runtime settings
Run time viewer != Full fledged browser. Do not consider what you view in the runtime browser to be typical of what you may find in a "real" browser.
This is not as large a problem as you might think, for by the time you have entered into the performance testing phase and are scripting your business process you have already addressed the question of "will it work for one" person. So if you believe you are viewing functional issues in the runtime browser related to your app, think twice... The runtime browser is "just good enough" to catch a lot of stuff in the script debig phase, but it definitely does not match up to Mozilla or Microsoft. But then again, I can't say I have heard about a security patch for Mercury's browser either...
