What would cause an Oracle NCA app not to respond to an LR request?
I have a combined web/Oracle NCA script that always stalls at the same point during an Oracle request (for what it's worth, creation of an order following a button press in Oracle). This operation is admittedly lengthy, taking about 2 minutes even when run directly via the client and without any LoadRunner intervention. However, when the LoadRunner script is run it never gets a response, even over the course of several hours - the log just shows the heartbeat every two minutes.
I don't believe there's anything wrong with the script code or correlation - it's all pretty straightforward. I've verified that generating the same order type against the same customer works repeatedly via the UI and fails to responsd repeatedly via LoadRunner.
Interestingly, I have two versions of the script, to test two different releases of code - one works and the other doesn't, even though the script operations are effectively identical and running the UI for either release works fine.
Any ideas, please?
Many thanks, Mike.

There's a patch obtainable from Mercury to resolve what I believe is your problem.
The symptom is as you describe -- once heartbeat kicks in, it hangs up forever. (It could happen if your pacing had more than 2 minutes between iterations too)
Sorry I can't be more specific - I am no longer at the location where this took place, and have no access to the relevant information.
