Does anybody know about the protocol used to write test sripts in Load Runner. If so pls let me know.
Mind is a terrible thing to waste
There are many. This should be posted in the LoadRunner forum.
LoadRunner uses TSL to generate scripts. TSL is a C-Like language. Otherwise, you can use java, vb or c to write scripts.
Incorrect. LoadRunner scripting generally uses ANSI C but VB and Java can also be used for some protocols.
Thanx for the reply, but my question is: Is there any thing like protocols to be followed in writing scripts in Load Runner other than the selection of a scripting language such as ANSI C or VB or JAVA.
If you are referring to LRun - App protocols, then look at the rather large list available to you when you select the type of script to record.
If you are referring to process/practices in and around the use of LoadRunner, the best answer to give to you is simple:
1) Obtain formal training in performance testing
2) Obtain formal LoadRunner training
