You can't disable the results, but you can disable the log. Be very careful about your assumptions on how many transactions per user per hour. Your assumptions may be way to high.
The results are stored in text files while the test is running. During collation the results are drawn back to the controller and converted from a .lrr structure to a .lra structure (which includes an mdb file).
I am also unsure why you reposted an issue from the LR yahoo groups to here. If it is that ****** an issue, call Mercury.

Subject: [LoadRunner] Re: stress testing-how to disable the log
I think the problem is not with the log but the problem is with the
result file LR generates.
I will try to explain the scenario clearly.
I have 15 scenarios run for 24 hrs continuoesly with a load of
1000users.assume i distribute 75users per scenario.
one of my scenario just takes 12 seconds to complete.
In this case it makes 24hrsx60x60x75users=540000/12=45000iterations.
so Loadrunner should save the information of data for all theese
iterations. That is the reason Loadrunner is end up in piling data in
its result file.It is creating a GB's of mdb file in the results
I then worry how the stress testing will be done.Has anybody
experienced theese problems.
