Well... it depends on your performance test objectives AND the amount of detail in your QTP scripts. If you are doing a lot negative tests/combined with beating over and over on the same controls with different inputs (in your QTP scripts) they might fall short of your need to iterate at the desired pace that you might otherwise have in your LRunner script(s).
Loadrunner and qtp
Hi here is the situation :
For now I need to do very minimal LoadTesting on an application. I just need to put X # vuser load on a specific part on the application to check that application crash or not. Hopefully not [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
I am using QTP for functional testing.
My question is should I use Loadrunner to generate vuser scripts or Should I load my qtp scripts (which are lot details functional test) to Loadrunner …and do the performance test.
Which option do you think I should go for ?
