Condition logic around web_find
I am trying to create a load runner script where, when a page loads, it looks for a text string within a text page. If it finds the string, it moves on. If it doesn't find the string, it waits a few seconds then refreshes the page and looks for it again.
The problem I am having is web_find and web_reg_find doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for. Both functions error out the transaction. As a result, I can't get information on the transaction times because every iteration where the text isn't found is recorded as an error.
Is there any way to check for text in a web page in LoadRunner and have neither result be an error?
Re: Condition logic around web_find
Try to use web_reg_save_param, and the option "Notfound=warning". Then some code (strcmp, lr_eval_string or similar) to actually check what was stored in the parameter.
