    WinRunner and LoadRunner

Can the WinRunner scripts be used as input to LoadRunner scripts?

I think I can help you, but please elaborate, your question is very vague.

    Re: WinRunner and LoadRunner

I'd suggest trying the LoadRunner and Winrunner forums for more insightful information.

Here's a thread from the LoadRunner forum:

    Re: WinRunner and LoadRunner

The straight answer is "no." WinRunner scripts are in TSL and LoadRunner in "C" (or Java + maybe Javascript).

But LoadRunner supports GUI Vusers (one per PC, loaded with WinRunner), and there's a nifty way of creating (raw) LoadRunner scripts by starting a recording session, and running the WinRunner script to generate the appropriate GUI manipulation.

    Re: WinRunner and LoadRunner

I use WR to record scripts and then reuse them to record in LR. That way, it is easy to modify WR when the app changes, then record it again
