I am facing one peculiar problem :
A brief intro about my application : It process the data and user options and generates the report in PDF format.
The moment user clicks on the Run button a new instance of the browser is opened
and in that PDF format is loaded
Problem I am facing is :
-->Sometimes on the new instance of the browser an error message pops up due to x,y,z reasons for which
I have enabled the content check.
-->While executing the recorded steps , I get error message based on my content check.
-->But if I disable that I don't get the error message and it appears as if things are perfect.(I know that's why we have got those content checks)
-->But most importantly , I never get error while I am processing the reports manually , its only when I process it thru LoadRunner with COntent check on.
Can somebody point out where I am doing wrong.
My guess is that the LoadRunner is unable to capture the new instance of the browser. But then why is it throwing that content check Rule triggered message.
Thanks in advance. And really appreciate any help/suggestion/comment on my way of understaning.
Re: Content Check
Your better off not using content check and using a check for the minimum size of the pdf.
When testing a Pdf I found that is much better to check for the download size than the content check that is built into loadrunner.
