Loadrunner Database query
I have to test a Oracle PL/SQL procedure (say server) performance residing on the test database which gets remotely invocated by another procedure ( say, client wrapper) from another database.
Is it possible for me to call the server procedure directly from loadrunner without using the client wrapper while making sure that there is no overhead on the server ? The server procedure is expecting some parameters which I will have to define in the loadrunner script . When I define these parameters in lr script, doees it get defined and parsed by PL/SQL engine on the server actually thereby increasing the load on the system ?
Or is my assumption correct that when the server procedure will get called from client procedure ( as it happens in Live scenario) there won't be the above mentioned overhead ?
To make matters complex, one of the parameters which I will have to pass to the procedure is a PL/SQL array type. or does that make any difference ?
Sorry if I am too vague-
