I recored basic script of Login in my web application.I parameterised it for Userid and Password field.
Now I would like to run this for 50 Vusers.Do I need to have seperate Userid and Password for each Vuser or I can use the same Userid and Password.
Assuming your web application does not prevent multiple users from connecting under the same username and password then there is no reason why not.
If your application has its own user authentication code then of course you may want to simulate each user logging in under a different username and password.
Look up the section in the LoadRunner Creating VUser Scripts manual/pdf Chapter 7 Defining Parameters on how to create File Parameters should you decide to do so.
Alternatively search this archive, as I'm sure this topic has been covered many many times before.
Hope this helps.
Yes,Its preferred.Since ur objective is to perform load-testing ,which has to be tested using realistic scenerio ie.. 50 Vusers concurrently login to the system.
(ii)the utilization of the data-sets varies with the work load model u define for ur tests.
