In this particular website, there is this form wherein the user enters some data as to his name, address etc and on clicking submit button hez taken to a page that displays the confirmation id.
I wanna capture that id and log it someplace.
I am trying to use web_reg_save_param for the same.
I am told that after the web_reg_save_param statement wherein u define the parameter and the boundaries, a web_url statement should be present, but in my case therez a web_submit_data statement that obiviously posts the form data and displays the confirmation id on another page. The underlying database for the same is DB2.
Any suggestions on how do i use web_reg_save_param over here?
It's still going to work. Try it.

An easy method would be to go to the recording log and search for the value that was recorded in the script. Jot down the left and right boundaries while you have it.
Then search backwards for web_. You will find either a web_submit_data or a web_url statement. Put your web_reg_save_param before this statement.
