Sounds like a winrunner problem I know, and it has been answered to death on that forum, but has anybody had any problems using it in LR? I'm writing a multiprotocol Web/NCA script and when trying to select an object in an Oracle Forms list box with:
I'm getting the error:
vuser_init.c(50): Error -24995 : list_select_item("27","Assembly") failed, Item in list or menu not found.
The list item it's searching for is correct, the focus of the window is correct, but no luck. I've tried the synchronisation solutions provided on the WR forum despite the fact that these shouldn't make any difference on a loadrunner script. Any ideas?
Re: list_select_item problem
It is quite simple, replay the script in advance trace/extended log and look for the object id 27. Look which value the list contians and does the value you are looking to select appears in the list.
It might be that the list is missing the value (and you could this way check the possible value) or that the object has a different id (low chances according to your description - but it best using names).
If it doesn't help - try calling Mercury.
