Persist parameter values across script runs
Does anyone know of an easy way to save the location of the last row of data accessed from a sequential data file?
I need to ensure that each time the script is run we are using new values from our datafile.
I would prefer not to create random values or have to write additional code to read and write row pointers.
I've looked through the help file on Parameters but can't find any information on how to do this.

There is no canned method or proviso in LR for what you need to do. The way I see it, you cannot escape writing code to save row information into persistent storage (another file).
What I preferred to do was to simply append the date-timestamp to the data I used from the file. That way I never had to change the data and didnt have to worry about duplication either. And when I looked into the database I knew which values were from which run - even which day - obviously the timestamp helped there.
