NTML Authentication using Load Runner (Vugen)
I am load testing an Web Application that Does NT Authentication before its launch.
When I record the Script I dont see any parameters sending my username to the Server.
I want to parameterize the scipt so that I can use it for creating multiple Vusers. For that I tried using web_set_user, but it didnt proved helpful.
Does anyone have Experience with such testing. If yes, please Guide me.
Re: NTML Authentication using Load Runner (Vugen)
This is Pretty Wierd.
According to the Function Reference this is the format of web_set_user function
int web_set_user (const char *username, const char *password, const char *host ort );
The Function Reference gives an example
web_set_user("spark\\peter", "XYZ", "spark:80");
But ppl at Mercury forgot to mention that this is the case when the domain name is the same as the host name. More Appropriate format is
web_set_user("Domain\\username", "pass", "host ort");
I figured that out the hard way. Hope you guys dont have to.
