    Reacording a Script

    User chinthireddys (chinthireddys@yahoo.com.nospam) posted:

What calls does loadrunner exactly capture when recording?
    My concern is:
I am using ODBC protocol to record scripts, there is a background
process(a daemon process) running behind with out knowledge, which
contributes 25% load on the server.

    Q's
1)Will loadrunner captures only the calls made or intiated by the
client application to the database or will it also capture my
background daemon processes. If Yes no issues if No what could be the
    solution.
2)My appliaction simultaniously makes calls to COM and ODBC, how to
record a script with two protocols..??

    Re: Reacording a Script

    Hi,

LR's ODBC protocol also capture the local procedures done.

I thik that the upcoming version of LR should contain the feature of recording the 2 protocols togther (you'll need to ask Mercury).

    Cheers
