Getting 404\'s and 503\'s in scenarios
can anyone help me with the following problem?
I have a Web script that runs fine under the Virtual User Generator.
It's quite simple:
(1) it logs into a site and goes to the home page
(2) it goes to another specific page
(3) it then logs out
But when I create a scenario of ten VU Users, it fails (usually 8-10 users fail and 0-2 pass).
The LoadRunner error messages reveal some 404's and some 503's.
At first, it was the same user credentials used to log in by all VU Users. And that failed.
Then I was advised to use different credentials for each one via a parametrized login based on the VUser ID.
That failed in the same way: some 404's and some 503's.
Any ideas why this is happening?
The pages are definitely there, and like I said the script works via the Virtual User Generator.
I also checked the web server error log, but didn't find any joy there either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

James, are you certain you've set the "Select Next Row" to Unique ? If you have multiple iterations, ensure you have checked "Advance Row Each Iteration" as well.
As an additional check, invoke lr_output_message() with VUID, Username/pwd in use. Once these basic checks get done, you'll be certain that it isnt the script thats throwing the spanner in the works.
