I've been using LR6.5 for a bit now but I can't seem to make sense of
some of the results, in particular the Running Vuser report. When I
look at the graph it appears that I have consistently 10 users,
expected, cause this is what I've set it to in my scenario. The
minimum in the data below the graph is 0 (zero) and the maximum 10
(ten). All fairly understandable. However, the method by which the
average is calculated is a mystery. I'm told the average is 5 (five),
but surely since I run ten users for the full period of the test the
average should be 10 or at least 9.5+ if you account for a slight gap
at the beginning between the test start and the Vusers initialising.
If anyone can shed any light on this I'd appreciate it,
My guess and this is just a guess is that it may be taking the minimum and the maximum value and dividing it in half. The average of the minimum and maximum, not the average of the test. Otherwise, like you said, it does not make much sense.
