Win Sockets with Load Runner
Just tried to create a peak load scenario for an application using LD's
winsocket protocol. However, something causes a new socket bind
(lrs_create_socket -call) to appear in recorded script. This causes
problems when trying to iterate 'actions' part, as the socket used by
script is changed during 'actions' part, and when the second iteration
tries to execute the first commands in 'actions', it has no valid
Any info on LD winsocket would be wellcome.
Re: Win Sockets with Load Runner
I faced the similar problem. For this you need to manually add a "close socket0" at the end of the script in order to make the script run fine the second iteration. If you go through your script, in the begining it will create socket0 but will never close it at the end. So when the script tries to create socket0 again in the second iteration which is already opened. So it fails.
