Read up on "web_create_html_param()", "web_create_html_param_ex()" and "web_reg_save_param()" the functions to capture the data you are after. I'll double check, but I believe you'll be okay with html recording for what you described.

I didtried web_create_html_param (before posting) but when substitute the sid with param (it doesn't turn pink) and the execution log says it (the param) is not a parameter. Is is something that i did wrong? I'm recording in HTTP mode not HTML.

Since "ctrl-f8", "alt-f8" and create correlation from menu is opt-out (not sure why and how), advice on how to properly "manual correlate" is greatly appreciated.
