I'm writing a web user script and I need to convert a dynamically captured char string, that happens to be a number like 500, into and int that I can use in a loop function. Can anyone help me out with the syntax for this?
You should check out a "C" reference book if you are going to be coding in loadrunner. This will help in the future and there are a lot of different functions that may help. For changing a char to an int use the atoi() function. This will change the ascii character into its corresponding integer. This can usally be found in the back of most "C" books. E.G. A = 65, a = 107, 1 = 49
Thanks, that's just what I was looking for. I didn't realize that Load Runner scripts were so closely tied to C. I'll have to find a reference book somewhere. Do you know of any source on the web that talks more in depth about writing scripts for Load Runner?
