Howmany users can logon to server one after the other
We have a script which loads the web page and logson to the account.
We did load testing using 10,25, 50 vusers
and we could get results for concurent logins.
But our plan is that users log on to server one after other and see how many maximum can login(One after the other).
If I make 10,25,50 iterations with one virtual user using the same script will solve my problem.
But i did not find any differance when i ran using iteration for 10 ,25 and 50 users from controller
Basically i want test hoe many users can logon to server one after the other and how much time for each user
Re: Howmany users can logon to server one after the other
Hi bandi u can do it by using scenario schedular. Include as many users as you want in a group and in the controller go to scheduling under "scenario" in the main menu.
In the scedular add the group for scheduling. Then in the Ramp up or initialization properties whichever suites your test in the "Group Properties" select the option as "Inrement the load with fixed batch size of" set it to one. You can further set the ramping up of the users depending on time by clicking "Batch Properties" btn. Default time is 5 min in LR 6.5, set it to your requirment say 1 sec. It will load the application with 1 vuser after the other with a difference of one second.
For more details please check the loadrunner controller user guide/using the load runner controller in online books under the "Help" menu of the controller.
Building a scenario> using automatic schedular.
Hope it will help
