Building VUsers without VUGen
Hello LR Group,
VUGen is alright as a recorder, but for development I want to avoid it as much as possible. I would like to use standard development and debugging tools (like GNU C or MS Visual C) to build VUsers that can
run in a LR Controller scenario. If necessary I could use VUGen for some final packaging or conversion step.
This would require knowing (at least) how to call the LoadRunner functions lr_*, web_* etc. from standard C; how to build the VUser interface that LR Controller expects; and how to package and format a VUser.
Has anyone done this? Or has anyone found it is definitely impossible?
Re: Building VUsers without VUGen
Never mind -- I just found it in the manual.
I gave up on the manual a while ago -- most of it is so verbose and incomplete, it's just frustrating. But I gave up too soon on this question.
