    HP LoadRunner - New Bee

    Hi All,

I have extensive experience in UFT. However I am allocated in a project wherein I have to work in HP Loadrunner.
I am also asked to lead a team of 10 people in UFT. Can anyone guide me as to how to go about doing it.

I am sorry. I can understand that it is a very basic approach and it is my responsibility to learn loadrunner.
However your inputs would help me align myself in the right path.

Independent of tool you have been given an impossible task without training and a mentor. You, as an untrained person, leading a group of untrained people in performance testing/engineering will be unable to deliver a reduction of risk in production. You may not like this answer, but it is the blunt truth. You need to hire someone who has been there and done that previously with success.

This is where your management needs to be honest with your client

    Start with this,
    https://automation-performance.blogs...e-testing.html

    Then (in sequence)
    https://automation-performance.blogs...oadrunner.html
    https://automation-performance.blogs...scripting.html
    https://automation-performance.blogs...nner-tool.html

    Thereafter few other topics,
    https://automation-performance.blogs...oadrunner.html
    https://automation-performance.blogs...ttp-codes.html
    https://automation-performance.blogs...ation-and.html

Once you are done with these, you will start getting some hang of what you are into.....you can take it forward from there....nothing is impossible in this world,

And for advance learning of Performance Engineering you can go to following link,
