LR 12.x support for Windows 10
I have prowled the READMEs and the "HP LoadRunner 12.x Support Matrix" PDF docs for both LR 12.02 and the latest 12.5 release. Neither indicate support (or explicit not supported) for Windows 10 in any flavor. This is particularly surprising for the just release LR 12.50. And I have learned the hard way not to assume anything about LR...
Has anyone inquired about this support HP?
Has anyone been successful using either 12.02 or 12.50 on Windows 10? And if yes, what flavor(s) of Windows 10?
-Thanks, Terry Horwath
Going to require a patch since Windows 10 final release wasn't available though the 12.5x gestation cycle.
If your clients insist on seeing Windows 10 in the logs, then just change the Windows version marker in the user agent string and then they can be happy with what the tools on the back end report for Windows 10. (Personally I like to put in tags like, "Windows 2020 Engineering Alpha - Do Not Release to the Field" just to see if people pay attention.
Do you have the KB/KM number for the patch? I find the HP support system's search mechanism to be the most maddening search engine available.

I don't think there is one available yet. Lets face it, corporations move slowly until risk is better defined. I would be shocked, outside of Microsoft, if anyone is deploying Windows 10 across the enterprise at this early date.
