We are finding a great reception to the Community Editions by our customer base but...
I see there is a new LR 12.50 Community Edition available for free download. We have been less than enamored with 12.02 finding 11.52 to be more stable (but I guess that is always dependent on the web apps being tested and the browsers being used).
For those of you using 12.50, can you comment on its stability and issues, if any, that you have encountered?
Also, is there some way to get and download patches for these Community Editions (both 12.02 as well as the new 12.50)? Or are these Community Editions essentially unsupported? (And is there a link anyone can provide where HP talks about that issue?) I obviously have a login to https://login.saas.hp.com and can find various LoadRunner related 12.5 downloads but no mention of an patches (and there has never been a version of LR that did not need patches shorted after release into the wild).
Lastly, I have downloaded the HPLR_1250_Community_Edition_Additional_Components. exe but there is no doc describing what it contains and when I execute it the installer quickly gets to the point where it asks "are you ready to install?". Of course I don't want to install what I don't understand. So can anyone comment on this too?
I've installed 12.5 community edition recently. As of now I've encountered 3 issues
1)When recording WebTours (sample app) in IE 11/10, both IE and LR tool stop responding . This could be due to Java problem, not sure.
2) once we record any script, design studio pops up with NO correlation suggestions. Only after scanning again, it shows some suggestions
3)With default settings, I tried to record google.com and it says "page can not be displayed". Then changed the Mapping & Filtering to Winlet level data and it worked, strange!
