Response from SOAP message in LR not consistent with Soap UI
I am testing a Web Service (SOAP via HTTP), am getting correct response from Soap UI while testing (The Input has a SOAP request along with an attachment ie XML payload)
In LoadRunner (web Services protocol), I have
- web_service_call with ATTACHMENT_ADD parameter where I've added the XML payload as the Input
Action.c(20): Error 500: org.springframework.web.util.NestedServletExceptio n: Request processing failed&
Action.c(20): #59 ; nested exception is org.springframework.ws.soap.SoapMessageCreationExc eption: Could n
Action.c(20): ot create message from InputStream: Invalid Content-Type:application/dime. Is this an erro
Action.c(20): r message instead of a SOAP response?; nested exception is com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.
Action.c(20): SOAPExceptionImpl: Invalid Content-Type:application/dime. Is this an error message instead
Action.c(20): of a SOAP response?\r\n
Any pointers Gents? Appreciated
Turn on full logging so you can see exactly what you send and the exact response...
If nothing is apparent, from that, try talking to the developers etc... they may be able to see what is wrong - server log files may help for instance
1. You are comparing a functional tool to a performance tool. Note: Not a valid comparison.
2. Best guess is you are missing a header in LoadRunner which is there by default in SOAPUI. Put a protocol analyzer on the wire (or a capturing HTTP Proxy) and look at the differences between identical requests.
