LR Error Pie Chart vs. Snapshots
1. Run a huge app
2. get 2034 errors, divided into 4 actual errors
3. Have Snapshots...
Want to see, in a report, a pie chart with 4 wedges.
Actually see - Daisy-of-death... a pie chart with 2034 wedges....
The filter divides each error by full test of the error...
INCLUDING the notification of the snapshot # (D'oh!)
any way around this?
Right click the graph and select 'Properties'. Then you can use the 'Group By' feature to group them together. I use 'Script Name, Parent Transaction, Error Message' in my group by for 'Error Statistics (by Description)' graph, because I like to see the name and transaction with my errors.
I do not think there is a way around it, but I would be very happy if somebody here would prove me wrong! The one way around the thousands-of-wedges problem that I know of is setting the filter to Group By Script Name (instead of Group By Error Message which is the default) on the relevant graphs in Analysis. That groups by the script name, which is not what I (or you) want either, but it is a lot easier to view and understand.
Have you considered contacting HP regarding this and file a feature request?
