Creating Performance Testing Center of Excellence
This post is not a technical question about VuGen but more about defining/improving the process. Within our organization, we are using LR 11.04 (enteprise license) and all of our perf testing requirements are from different teams within the organization. Our current process is very lean and have minimal documentation. Project managers setup a meeting, we get the usecases and after doing the technical feasibility we get our heads down with scripting and start running the scenarios. Results are discussed in meetings. The duration of most of the performance testing project is 6 to 9 weeks. We have been doing that for a while now and want to streamline the process and create Performance Testing CoE. This forums has the best brains in the industry so if you have time, i want you to share your experiences in creating processes, any valuable suggestions, does and don'ts in customer communication. I don't want you to share any confidential/company information but in general.

First thing I would say to take care is that you should not increase complexity and bureaucracy. Define a structure with clear roles and responsibilities.
Second is you should keep track of your needs which are forcing you to do this change, and define course of action and final outcome based on this.
Third is obviously the client satisfaction, the end results should be like what client wants to see.
Final is you have to do the documentation for proper knowledge base building and for this you have to use standard templates of various deliverables like Performance Test Plan, Test Strategy, Results Summary etc.
