Question on Correlation - Regular Expression ?
I am using LR 11.04 , This is a question on correlation , I have a situation in which the web page can have multiple elements as seen below ( Element1, Element2 ... ) . The element count is dynamic . One way is using Web_reg_save_param, but it is not efficient when the the element count changes ( as in solution 1 ) . I tried using regular expression method ( web_reg_save_param_regexp ) ,but it does not allows to specify left and right boundary . i need the three values in double quotes eg (028,000,ABC) . can anyone give me a hint on what can be done
Why wouldn't using regular old WRSP and building an array work?
try using this
you do appear to have a complete misunderstanding of the Ord parameter though
not using the ord parameter in the example code you have given above will give you a parameter for each wrsp ie Number1, Number2, Number3 etc
using the ord parameter as you have will give you Number1_1, Number2_1, Number3_1, Number1_count, Number2_count, Number3_count
if you use the /DIG flag and do not use the Ord parameter you get the first occurrence in, say, Number
if you use the /DIG flag and use, say Ord=3 you get the 3rd occurrence (if there is one) in Number
if you use the /DIG flag and use Ord=All you get Number_1, Number_2, Number_3, Number_count
if you have more than 9 (ie you need to go to double figures) you just need a second wrsp with 2 #s etc
you should be able to figure out what to do with the resultant param arrays once you've got them
I'm not overly familiar with web_reg_save_param_regex(), I'll try to have a look tomorrow
