Paramaterization of security qns & ans
I would like to know how to paramaterize the security questions and answers. The security questions will be randomly generated by the application and the user has to give the appropriate answers set by the user for it. It appears at each login. Please suggest a way to overcome this.
Please note that we can have the same password for all the security questions and run it. But i would like to know is there any other way to do it?
You really won't need to parameterize the questions since they're generated randomly, but you can choose the appropriate "answer" depending on what question is posed during runtime.
Yeah this seems pretty simple. Once the login page is sent to you, you just have to evaluate what the question is, and then just send the appropriate answer based on whatever question is asked.
Capture the server response question using web_reg_save_param and then use a case statement to set another parameter to the answer you need and then parameterize the request you need with the answer.
My rambling probably made this sound harder than it really is but let me tell you, this is really easy.
not sure a case statement is what you really mean there LR421...
I think you mean switch and as far as I can recall it only accepts integers
in this case an if, else if, else if, else construction will work perfectly...
remember to put your parameter into a c char variable otherwise you'll be usin a lot of lr_eval_string statements unnecessarily
You're right Jim, switch/case only accepts integers, thanks for correcting me. If's and else if's it is.
