Run Load runner script remotely
Dear colleagues, I am working to have Jenkins job which triggers the execution of the Load runner script. The script is located on remote system
"\\<hostname>\hp\LoadRunner\bin\Wlrun.exe" -Run -TestPath "\\BGSOFWBPC0107\E2E_SEMC_BPM_Validation_CPU\SEMC. lrs" -ResultName "\\BGSOFWBPC0107\E2E_SEMC_BPM_Validation_CPU\Resul ts"
The console output in Jenkins is the following:
c:\jenkins\workspace\Patch_validation>"\\Bgsofwbpc 0107\hp\LoadRunner\bin\Wlrun.exe" -Run -TestPath "\\BGSOFWBPC0107\E2E_SEMC_BPM_Validation_CPU\SEMC. lrs" -ResultName "\\BGSOFWBPC0107\E2E_SEMC_BPM_Validation_CPU\Resul ts"

log4cxx: No appender could be found for logger (EsCom).
log4cxx: Please initialize the log4cxx system properly.
I suppose that the issue is related to not correct configuration in SEMC.lrs file configuration. Can you please advise
Can you run the scenario without the Jenkins system involved? If Yes, then this is a Jenkins configuration issue. If no, then fix the scenario and resubmit it.
This is kicking off a LoadRunner scenario which could contain multiple scripts and multiple users. If the execution of a single LoadRunner script id desired then the model should be through "mdrv" and not "wlrun"

I too facing the same problem as mentioned by you. It would be really helpful if you can let me know about the resolution on how to resolve the above issue. Meantime if I get to resolve the issue, I will post the same.
Thanks in advance,
are you trying to run a scenario or an individual script
if you are trying to run a single script then as James said you are not using the correct command and need to look up how to use mdrv
if you are intending to run a scenario, even if it has only got one script in it, then I'd check your typing, if what you've pasted is exactly what you're trying to run, you appear to have a space between the . and the lrs in the scenario name
I am using the line as it is "C:\Program Files\HP\LoadRunner\bin\Wlrun.exe" -Run -TestPath "C:\Scenario\Test.lrs" -ResultName "C:\Temp\LR_Res\result_0", but gets the same error as mentioned by magdalena. I think the error is related to "-" but could not resolve it. Yes I am using it as scenario.
Any help would be highly appreciable.
