RDP Protocol and Windows Data Execution Prevention
With this protocol I am launching the remote desktop connection to access another server; however, DEP is stopping this due to it being an *.exe. Due to security where I work, I have no option of turning this off. Is there anyway around this except disabling DEP which I cannot do?
Also, I know LR 11.0 does not support a Windows 2008 R2 Terminal Server as it is 64 bit, but does anyone know what, if any problems, were encountered.
Re: RDP Protocol and Windows Data Execution Prevention
Most of what LR does is more or less security hacks. LR sometimes gets caught! When it gets caught it ceases to work.
There may be a work-around to your problem that someone knows. However, it's also quite possible that with your current configuration it's just flat not going to work.
