Dynamically creating/using binary files in script?
I have a binary file I need to send in one of my scripts. Sending a binary (.tif file) file is easy enough. However, the binary file that I'm sending must be prepended with a unique serial number. I can graft the serial number onto the .tif easily enough with a bit of C, but... I don't *think* there's a way for me to easily send the file I create (maybe I'm wrong about this).
Because files need to be attached to the script when referencing the ADD_ATTACHMENT command (I think that's the command, I'm not at my work PC now) I can only now send the static files which are attached to the vugen script.
I haven't played around with this a lot yet but I figured I'd see if anyone has ever had to do anything like this before. Is anyone aware of a good way to send a dynamically created binary file in a request?
Any insight you can provide would be appreciated.

Get your "first" file.
Record the script uploading the first file.
I believe that if you look through the code you'll find the filename of your first file.
If you are able to munge your file to get what you need with a new, known filename you should be able to modify the line in the script that references that filename.
