...itermittantly. When I go to run and a compilating is needed, or I explicitly invoke a compilation after editing a file, I get an error that "fileX.c" can't be found. And in fact fileX.c has been deleted. For example both vuser_init.c and vuser_end.c as well as Action.c have all been victims, as well as custom action source files. (But never my data files or any of the vuGen config files).
I am using vuGen 11 with patch 3. I am going to re-install vuGen completely and hope this solves the problem. But has anyone else experienced this problem? A search of the forum seems to say no.
I have seen this behavior as well.
I believe it was a HIPS issue or some policy issue (maybe temp related). Reported it to the admins for HIPS and it magically went away.
We're running LR v11 patch 3.
VuGen OS is Win7 - 32 bit.
Just a follow-up: uninstalled, reinstalled vuGen 11, then patch 3. Rebooted the PC between each step.
Still getting an occasional "blah.c file not found" when attempting to Run after editing (where an implied compile occurs). But now we (two of us still see this problem) then press the Compile icon doing an explicit compilation--so a far this results in a clean compilation.
This is quite weird. It is only occurring in a Web C Users script that I coded by hand to make REST API calls. I have a few custom Actions in this script, but do in others as well that are not exhibiting this behavior. Never occurs with Web C User scripts we record with UI interactions.
