Error with .pem certificate
I've got the following web_set_certificate_ex function in a script:
But I'm seeing the below error when attempting to use the certificate:
Error -27770: Cannot set Key File for certificate "MyCert.pem". Please check file format (should be PEM), password correctness, and matching to the certificate file. [MsgId: MERR-27770]
From the (limited) other posts relating to this, I'm guessing this is an issue with the Key File details provided in the web_set function.
Does anyone know what values should be used for the Key File arguments (are they even mandatory?) or would these be specific to the certificate being used?
Is there a set of instructions of how to import the originating .pfx file and export the required .pem file? I've tried using both IE and openssl.exe, but both certificates are giving the same error. However, there are a number of options when importing/exporting using IE, so I'd like to ensure I'm using the right ones.
Any help much appreciated.
Re: Error with .pem certificate
I worked on it long back and generation of PEM file using OPENSSL was a challenge.
I believe the PEM file has not been generated properly. Give few more trials.
- by the way, How you are passing the PEM file path (in script or mentioning the path parameter?"
