LR 8.1 and PL/SQL parameters
I'm total newbie with LR and here is the situation.
Got a lot of pl/sql blocks which are executed in SQLplus and LR tracks this into to Oracle 2-tier scenario.
In one block I have heavy sql procedure, which returns a lot of out params.
Need to somehow store one of this param for further use in other blocks. Problem is that these values are visible only within particular anonimous block.
Is there some basic solution for this case? I've checked help and found tips for binding cell value to param, it is not much use to me.
I've tried to add 'select' statement for that param, but LR didn't catch it within pl/sql block.
Here is block example:
select out_2 into out_temp from dual;
In LR script there are only statement, exec, handle_free and no binds.
Re: LR 8.1 and PL/SQL parameters
1. As you are new, have you had training and have you access to a mentor as a prt of your professional development? If the answer to either or both is no, then you have an issue to take up with your management for if they are to ask you to deliver then you have a right to demand the tools/knowledge to be successful. An untrained individual adds additional risk to the deployment rather than reducing the risk.
2. Correlated variable values are available though all following code. How to correlate in a database virtual user? See 1. above.
