Since this is my first post this year, happy New Year!
We are currently running on Loadrunner 9.52 and are very satisfied with what it does. Now, my client wants to upgrade to LR version 11 for compatibility issues with SiteScope.
My client usually takes a while before upgrading to a newer version because he prefers to get the "latest" validated first. Now i personnaly haven't played with LR 11 myself and have only read about the new features. I've tried looking around for some issues with the version altogether but have only gotten one with the Analysis (raised by Kevin Jackey): http://www.sqaforums.com/showflat.ph...art=1&vc=1
I didn't contact HP on the matter because of course they'll want me to upgrade. So basically what i'm asking for is some real user feedback regarding any existing issues with the LR 11 version.
No big problems with HTML protocol.
Solved some "eternal bugs" (bugs that I saw since version 7.6) in Analyzer.
The TrueClient protocol is a cpu pig.
Don't dare to use it without the two patches already in the HP site (one for the Vugen/Controller) and another for the LG.
You can't choose anymore the components to install when you do a "Full Install".
Not all the protocols seem supported with Linux LG.
Yep... TruClient is a CPU Hog.. Our Dual Core 2.8ghz machines can run 8 users (10 if you want CPU pegged 100% of the time). Each user takes about 80 to 100mb of Ram as well. So scalability is not good right now.. but script development is much faster with TruClient. Guess I'll be making a HW purchase
