What is what you have to install a Load generator version 9.5 on a Ubuntu server ?
Into the HP documentation it shows just a installtion on a Redhat version.
It would seem as you are out of the supported model by running counter to requirements. Why would you want to introduce such an unknown into a reference load environment? This seems an odd decision.

I not have the choice : my customer works on Ubuntu plateform and It not will change of environment just for LR !
Their call. They need to be prepared for statements such as "I am sorry, but we have reached a limitation on support in your environment"
Windows is the most promiscuous of generators in any case. If you can't get them to switch to redhat then consider getting them to switch to Windows.
