A quick tip to share ...
Using LR 9.52, after recent Windows updates a few days ago, VUGen began to act very odd, even hanging at times when I attempted to stop recording.
As I suspected, something in one of the updates from MS was the problem. I re-registered the LR components and now all is well. ;-)
